Challenge Friends in 8 Ball Clash – Skill-Based Fun

We’re excited to introduce 8 Ball Clash, the first title launching on StakeClash.

It’s a skill-based online pool game built on Solana, where players can challenge their friends and compete for rewards in real time.

Whether you’re here to practice your shots or put some SOL on the line, 8 Ball Clash brings classic pool gameplay into a competitive web3 format.

Game Modes

There are three ways to play:

Solo Mode

Play freely without any stakes. It’s perfect for practicing shots, learning the controls, or just relaxing.

Free Multiplayer

Challenge a friend or another player without any wager. This mode is ideal for testing your skills and competing without risking real money.

Paid Multiplayer

This is where things get serious. Both players stake an agreed amount of SOL before the match begins, and the winner automatically receives the prize at the end of the game. Payments are handled through Solana smart contracts, ensuring instant and transparent results.

Creating or joining a match is simple. Just open the lobby, choose a mode, and invite your opponent with a unique game link.

Fair Play and Match Rules

To keep things balanced, every multiplayer match starts with a coin flip to decide who takes the first break. This ensures both players have an equal chance from the start.

If a player disconnects during a match, they’ll have one minute to reconnect. If they fail to return in time, the opponent automatically wins by default.

8 Ball Clash also includes an internal anti-cheat system that monitors gameplay patterns. Any suspicious behaviour or unusual activity is flagged for review. During this process, payments are temporarily frozen until the match is verified. This ensures every player has a fair and trustworthy experience.

Leaderboards

As you play, you’ll earn points that count toward the StakeClash leaderboards.

The top three players each week will secure featured positions and, without giving too much away, there’s a small Easter egg for those who manage to hold those spots.

How to Play

Gameplay is designed to feel familiar and responsive. To take a shot, simply aim, click, and drag your cue to adjust power, then release to strike. 

You can also apply spin to the cue ball to control its direction after impact, allowing you to set up your next shot or escape tricky positions.

Every match follows standard 8-ball rules, and the results are final once confirmed on-chain.
